You will work in Rome in the historic Quadraro neighbourhood, in order to produce a piece of work engaging with the local community. The neighbourhood, 15 minutes from the center of Rome, is known for its vibrant artistic and cultural scene as well as for its historical heritage. Especially in the last years it has been the focus of massive artistic regeneration, exemplified by the massive pieces of Urban art that characterize the area.

Our selected artist will receive: a travel bursary, studio and accommodation costs covered by 126 and bursary of 400 Euros towards day-to-day expenses. During the residency you will be connected with an exclusive network of curators, writers, artists and archaeologists in order to develop new work inspired by this diverse area on the outskirts of Rome.
