126 Artist-Run Gallery in light of recent developments will remain closed indefinitely as we assess and ensure public health and safety under the instruction of the government of Ireland and health officials.

126 would like to take a moment to thank all our supporters, funding bodies, artists and studio members. We live in unpredictable times and we thank you for bearing with us as we attempt to navigate this very challenging time for 126 and the whole of the country and the world. We have all been and will be hit very hard as a sector and as a community by this and we must remember to support each other now and after this pandemic.

In the interest of public safety, 126 will remain closed to the public until we are advised it is safe to re-open by the government and national health officials, this most likely will extend beyond April 19th. Be assured that we are working behind the scenes and from home to bring you lots to look forward to once we get through this difficult time. We must remember to support the most vulnerable in our society and sometimes this means doing nothing, working from home and staying home.

With this in mind, 126 is currently contacting all artists in order to pay artist fees for the 2020 programme now. We know this isn’t much but we hope it will help to support artists now. In the meantime, we would love to hear from you, What we can do to support you now? and after this pandemic begins to subside? Please contact us at contactg126@gmail.com
