126 Artist-Run Gallery is delighted to announce our new 126 Micro-Grants initiative in support of the arts and cultural community. The 126 Micro-Grant programme is designed to offer small, easily accessible grants to alleviate some of the financial stress artists are experiencing, during the current restrictions and uncertainty of opportunities. We have been inspired by the RHA Micro-Grant programme and other of its like. 126 as an artist-led organisation is committed to supporting our members and fellow artists now and this is part of our ongoing efforts.

126 invites artists who may just need a little help right now to apply for anything from €100 to €500. This can be for any purpose, such as paying a bill, support their studio or home rental or to purchase materials to continue to make artwork.

If you would like to contribute to the funding of these Micro-Grants for artists, please get in touch with us. All donations to 126 this month will go towards The Micro-Grants exclusively and supporting artists now.

The total value of this fund is limited, and we can only offer a small number of grants for this round. These Micro-Grants have been created from a surplus of funding from programmes which have been cancelled due to COVID-19. Now more than ever it’s important we pull together as one big cultural community and support each other.
