CULTURE NIGHT – Tulach by Sandra Corrigan Breathnach

You are warmly invited to view Tulach by Sandra Corrigan Breathnach on Culture Night, Friday the 18th of September at 6pm.

Tulach is a performance that will be created for Culture Night, at 126, by the renowned artist Sandra Corrigan Breathnach. This performance will be created through a unique format, where artists who have been selected through an open-call process to participate in Corrigan Breathnach’s preceding performance workshop, will be given the opportunity to perform in, Corrigan Breathnach’s performance Tulach.

The performance Tulach, will look at the wonder of our existence, the cyclical nature of life and death, drawing on our past, our present and looking towards future ways of being within this world. 

Participating artists include Ana Aguilar Strada, Marie Bryan, Mná Rógaire (Samantha O’Reilly, Laura Grisard, Rebecca Christina Devins) Marie-Chantal Hamrock, Maria May and Macha Shewolf.

Sandra Corrigan Breathnach has performed and exhibited both nationally and internationally , most notably in the Guggenheim, Bilbao in 2025, as part of the MEM Festival in partnership with the Guggenheim Museum TopARTE programme.

On Saturday the 19th of September at 2pm workshop participants will be showcasing workshop outcome performances at 126 Artist-Run Gallery.
